We chose this motel because we needed a one night stop that is pet- friendly and not expensive and on a Friday which is difficult to get on the coast. It is really good, prompting me to write a review. While parts outside and the bathroom are in need of repair, which is happening judging by tradesmen working here through day, for the low price it is excellent. Good bed, clean, quiet a/c plus windows can open for breeze, little traffic on road overnight (we had roadside room), small but good kitchenette included and sensibly furnushed with a few chairs.
First room smelled of cigarettes, second room smelled mouldy, third room was the best but I couldn't turn the tap off and it dripped water all night. Comfortable bed, modest interior. Ok for a one night stay
Would stay again for a stop over. Clean room. You get what you pay for, and they were well priced.
Would rather have slept in the car. Room stank of cigarettes. Needs a good clean. Carpet and curtains falling apart. Sink and shower disgusting. Needs renovating and cleaning. Person at reception was odd. Didn't even bother opening office for checkout. Mattress worn and lumpy. Can hear everything including next door, the carpark and the road. Outside lights stay on all night and shine through curtains. Air conditioner turned onto heat mode during the night.
Comfortable but dated.. all amenities.. room has a musty smell probably needs new carpet.. good for a couple nights stay. value for money
